AeroGen SMS Opt-in

AeroGen by InsightSpring sends operational text messages only to people who opt in for themselves. This page shows exactly how that opt-in works inside the AeroGen web application.

How a user opts in to text messages in AeroGen (My Account → Identity). Personal details are blurred.Alt text (in the picture’s settings): AeroGen My Account, Identity tab, before and after opting in to text messages.

How a user opts in
  1. The user signs in to AeroGen and opens My Account → Identity.
  2. The user enters their own mobile number. The field is optional.
  3. The user ticks the box beside the consent statement shown below. The box is unticked by default, and opting in is never required to use AeroGen.
  4. The user presses Save Changes. Consent is recorded only at that moment, with the date, the version of the consent statement and the user’s IP address.
  5. The user receives one confirmation text: “AeroGen: you are opted in to operational text messages from InsightSpring. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”

An administrator cannot opt a user in. Each user opts in for themselves, with their own number.

The consent statement shown beside the box

“I agree to receive operational text messages from AeroGen by InsightSpring (workflow briefings, approval requests and support ticket alerts) at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Messaging Terms.”

What messages are sent

Operational alerts about the user’s own work in AeroGen: workflow briefings, approval requests and support ticket alerts. No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message, or untick the box in My Account → Identity and press Save Changes. Reply HELP for help, or email info@insightspring.ai.

Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and our SMS Messaging Terms.
